can anyone tell me what the best type of push rods are for 1/4 scale. Are people still using wooden ones with wire ends.

Dave Brown fiberglass push rods with 4-40 wire and cleaves ,all hardware should be 4-40 threads ,hanger 9 makes titanium pro-links 4-40 ,Sullivan has 4-40 threader rods had also their hi stress flexible push rod #slu 517and slu 518 there is slu 519 too,you have to make sure your push rods don't flex and are supported ,all this can be found on Greathobbies web site .I have used these on all my 1/4 scale to 1/3 scale planes for years and when installed right are rock solid

Thanks for the reply Rick. Can you tell me what size bolt and nuts are used for a zenoah g26.

for a 26CC I have been using socket head cap screws 10-24 .I have them in my shop but 10-32 are good too ,and I use the 'T' nuts in the firewall .be sure to use blue lock tight and lock washers, gas engines will vibrate more then glow and electrics

Thanks Rick I ended up going with the 10/32 Just had to ream out the mount just a little. Now have to figure out the linkage setup.
